A zest for knowledge and lifelong curiosity inform Maria Montessori's designs for educating the whole child. Along with our mission statement, Brickton's vision for our graduates centers around three core areas:
- Scholarship: Scholarship refers to skills utilized in academics such as how one learns, thinks, creates, imagines, reasons, and organizes information paired with the ability to reflect on one’s own learning.
- Agency: Agency refers to emotional intelligence skills that support the individual in building independence and accountability for their learning and behaviors.
- Community: Community refers to the qualities and skills necessary to be an engaged, integral, and valued member of any group ranging from home to school to the world at large.
Business Review
"I highly recommend Brickton if you are looking for an authentic and nurturing Montessori school for your children. Teachers at Brickton are passionate and caring. It’s clear how much they appreciate, enjoy, and respect our children. My children truly feel this is a home away from home. My two children are very different individuals, one kindergartener who makes incredible animal drawings and another who wants to figure out the number of seconds in a day. I love that this school embraces their individuality and talents. They are able to spend some time doing what they love each day, and are also challenged to tackle all areas of academic work. Children leave Brickton well prepared for their next school and with a sense of confidence, responsibility, and love of learning that will help them succeed in all areas of life."

The school’s focus on independence, self-directed learning, and holistic development has profoundly impacted her academic and social growth. The teachers at Brickton are extraordinary, nurturing each child’s unique strengths and fostering a genuine love for learning. Our daughter’s achievements have consistently exceeded expectations, but what truly stands out is her joy in learning and her social and emotional growth. The supportive, collaborative environment at Brickton has helped her build strong, meaningful relationships with peers and teachers. We are deeply grateful for the dedication of the staff, who are not just educators but mentors, guiding our daughter to become the best version of herself.
